From the initial structure to the final regulatory review: a white paper that complies and convinces.
We write your crypto project’s white paper from scratch: vision, problem, solution, tokenomics, roadmap, team, technology and legal framework. A professional document ready for investors and regulators.
We review your existing white paper to detect legal risks: token classification, disclaimers, MiCA obligations, and possible conflicts with securities and consumer protection rules.
Distribution structure, vesting, supply, token utility and economic model, consistent with the regulation and attractive to investors.
Legal analysis of the token: utility, security, payment, ART, EMT or hybrid. Impact on regulatory obligations, licenses and the applicable jurisdiction.
If your token involves payment, custody or exchange services, you need an AML/CFT system: KYC, monitoring and compliance adapted to the crypto ecosystem.
Design of the project’s corporate structure: jurisdiction, issuing entity, foundation, DAO wrapper and protocol governance.
DeFi, NFTs, infrastructure, RWA or payments: the white paper must reflect the business model, the token and the specific regulatory framework.
"A DeFi white paper must explain the protocol mechanics, the smart contract risks, the governance and the classification of the governance token under MiCA."
"Tokenizing real-world assets calls for a white paper that analyzes the nature of the token (is it a transferable security?), the custodian, the audit of the underlying asset and the applicable regulatory framework."
"A technical white paper for blockchain infrastructure must combine network architecture, consensus model, tokenomics and a clear legal framework for the utility token."
"EMTs and ARTs under MiCA require a white paper with specific regulatory content: reserve of assets, redemption rights, authorized issuer and ongoing supervision."
A white paper without legal review can turn your project into a regulatory, reputational and financial problem.
Wrong token classification: if your white paper describes a utility token but the regulator classifies it as a transferable security, you face MiFID and prospectus obligations and civil liability.
Inadequate or generic disclaimers: copying disclaimers from other projects does not protect you. They must be specific to your token, jurisdiction and business model.
Tokenomics that do not add up: investors and analysts spot inflationary models, unfair distributions or aggressive vesting. A white paper that lacks rigor drives capital away.
For ARTs and EMTs, the MiCA Regulation requires a white paper with regulated minimum content and notification to the supervisor before issuance.
VCs, funds and launchpads use the white paper as a first filter. If it is not credible, professional and complete, the project does not get past the first stage.
A white paper distributed worldwide can trigger obligations in several jurisdictions. The legal analysis must cover the restrictions of each market.
We draft or review your white paper with a legal focus: token classification, tokenomics, disclaimers, the MiCA framework and a structure built for investors. A document that protects and convinces.
A white paper is the founding document of a blockchain or crypto project. It describes the problem it solves, the technical solution, the token’s economic model (tokenomics), the roadmap, the team and the applicable legal framework.
Under MiCA, the white paper also becomes a mandatory regulatory document for certain types of tokens (ARTs, EMTs and crypto-assets in general).
Yes, for most crypto-assets offered to the public. The MiCA Regulation requires a white paper with regulated minimum content to be published before the token is offered to the public or admitted to trading.
The mandatory content includes, among other things, a description of the issuer, the project, the token, the rights attached to it, the risks, the underlying technology and the consensus mechanism.
The white paper is the project’s full, detailed document: technical, economic and legal. It is aimed at investors, regulators and the technical community.
The litepaper is a short, accessible version designed for the general public and for quick communication. It usually runs to 5–10 pages, compared with 20–50+ for a full white paper.
The legal classification of the token determines the regulatory content of the white paper:
White paper disclaimers must be specific, not generic. Typical content:
The cost depends on the complexity of the project, the type of token and the scope of the service (drafting only vs. drafting + legal review + tokenomics). A professional white paper with a regulatory review is an investment that protects the project in the long term.

No. A crypto white paper (even one regulated by MiCA) does not replace the prospectus required by securities law (Prospectus Regulation). If your token is classified as a transferable security, you need a prospectus approved by the supervisor, in addition to the white paper.
A good white paper helps determine whether or not you need a prospectus, and it can serve as a basis for drafting one.
A professional white paper combines a compelling narrative, technical rigor and solid legal protection. These are the three pillars we assess in every project.
The first pages of the white paper must answer three questions: what problem it solves, why blockchain is the solution and what value the token brings. If readers do not get it in 2 minutes, it does not work.
Supply, distribution, vesting, incentives, burn or issuance mechanisms. Tokenomics must be sustainable, fair and aligned with the project’s goals. Investors scrutinize them closely.
Token classification, specific disclaimers, jurisdictional restrictions, MiCA compliance and risk analysis. A white paper without a legal framework is a ticking time bomb.

An effective white paper is not a pretty PDF: it is a document that convinces investors, satisfies regulators and serves as a roadmap for the team. These are the building blocks we review and optimize.
1) VisionThe first pages decide whether investors keep reading. Clarity, market data and competitive edge.
2) TokenomicsSupply, distribution, vesting, utility, deflationary or inflationary mechanisms. Tokenomics must be sustainable and verifiable.
3) LegalToken classification under MiCA and securities law. Specific disclaimers, jurisdictional restrictions and regulatory risk analysis.
4) ExecutionThe white paper must show the ability to execute: a team with a track record, a realistic roadmap with measurable milestones and a clear governance model.
By token typeFocus on real utility, the ecosystem and organic demand. Show that the token is not a security.
Mandatory MiCA content: reserve, redemption, authorized issuer and supervision.
Prospectus + white paper. Investor rights, returns, risks and the applicable regime.
A sustainable economic model, fair distribution, reasonable vesting, potential for appreciation.
That it is not a disguised securities offering. Consistency between the stated utility and the economic design.
Verifiable track record, sector experience, skin in the game and relevant advisors.
Identification of the issuer, the persons responsible and the corporate structure.
Solid architecture, smart contract audits, scalability and a technical edge.
Description of the underlying technology and the consensus mechanism (MiCA Art. 6).
Transparency on risks, mitigation and adverse scenarios. A sign of a mature project.
A risk section is mandatory under MiCA. It must cover technological, regulatory and market risks.
A clear legal structure, a defined jurisdiction and protection of token holders’ rights.
Token classification, disclaimers, restrictions and compliance with the applicable rules.
If you spot any of these signs in your white paper, it is worth reviewing it before you publish it.
If you are drafting or reviewing a white paper, these are the terms you need to master.
It describes the vision, technology, tokenomics, team and legal framework. Under MiCA, it is a regulatory requirement for offering crypto-assets.
Design of the supply, distribution, vesting, utility, incentives and adjustment mechanisms. It must be sustainable, transparent and aligned with the project’s goals.
A token that gives access to a product, service or feature within the ecosystem. It does not confer economic or governance rights comparable to those of securities.
A token that keeps a stable value by referencing several assets (fiat, commodities, crypto). Specifically regulated by MiCA, with requirements for the white paper, the reserve and the issuer.
A token that references a single fiat currency. Comparable to electronic money. The issuer must be authorized and the white paper must meet specific MiCA requirements.
The period over which tokens allocated to the team, investors or advisors are released gradually. It protects against dumps and aligns long-term incentives.
Legal statements that set out the nature of the document, the jurisdictional restrictions, the risks and the limits on the issuer’s liability.
If the token confers economic rights (dividends, profit sharing), it may be classified as a financial instrument and require a prospectus.
A 5–10 page document with the project’s key points, designed for quick communication and the general public. It does not replace the regulatory white paper.
WHITE PAPER REVIEW CONSOLE
A good white paper is assessed on three dimensions: narrative (is it convincing?), tokenomics (is it sustainable?) and legal (does it protect you?). This panel summarizes how we score each block according to the type of token.
How demanding the white paper must be depends on the legal classification of the token.
Tell us about your project and we will explain how we can help with your white paper: drafting, legal review or both.
The white paper has historically been the central document of any blockchain or crypto-asset project. Since Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper in 2008, this format has become the standard way to present a crypto project’s vision, technology and economic model to investors, the community and regulators.
With the entry into force of the MiCA Regulation (Markets in Crypto-Assets), the white paper is no longer a voluntary document: it becomes a mandatory regulatory requirement. MiCA requires every issuer of crypto-assets (subject to specific exemptions) to publish a white paper with regulated minimum content before offering the token to the public or applying for its admission to trading on a platform.
Article 6 of MiCA sets out the minimum content of the crypto-asset white paper: a description of the issuer and the project; a description of the crypto-asset and its rights and obligations; a description of the underlying technology and the consensus mechanism; a description of the risks (technological, regulatory and market); and a clear, non-misleading summary. For ARTs and EMTs, the requirements are even stricter and include information on the reserve of assets, redemption rights and the stabilization mechanism.
If the token is classified as a transferable security (a financial instrument under MiFID II), the white paper is not enough: you need a prospectus approved by the supervisor (the CNMV in Spain) under the Prospectus Regulation. Analyzing the token’s legal nature is therefore the first step before drafting the white paper, and it must be documented rigorously.
The most common mistakes in crypto white papers include promises of returns (which can trigger securities law), generic disclaimers copied from other projects, tokenomics with aggressive allocations to insiders, no analysis of the token’s legal classification, and unrealistic roadmaps without measurable milestones. A professional white paper is the project’s first line of legal defense and its gateway to institutional investors.
